Gospel

Gospel: The Bible is a single, amazing, true story in which God is the author and the hero. In Jesus, he powerfully rescues us and sets us free for his glory and our joy. We get to foreshadow the end of the story…

Community

Community: The gospel makes us children of God and brothers and sisters together. We live out this identity in Missional Communities who work out faith in the gospel of Jesus in the everyday rhythms of life.

FOLLOWING JESUS
IN EVERYDAY LIFE

Jesus gave his followers the mission to make disciples, teaching them to walk in his ways in an abundant life lived close to him that would show the world what he is like.

We believe doing that requires lots of life lived together, not just an hour on Sundays. The main way we live out that mission of Jesus is in everyday life is through what we call Missional Communities. We are everyday people doing everyday things with gospel intentionality and the power of Jesus.

We long to see the presence of Jesus through his people saturate Federal Way, the region and beyond…

About Us

Soma Federal Way is part of the Soma family of churches. We were commissioned from Soma Tacoma in early 2015 to establish a new local church in our area.

Most importantly,
we are all about Jesus.

Missional Communities

WHAT IF CHURCH WASN'T A PLACE YOU GO BUT WHO YOU ARE?

What if a few neighbors lived out faith with you in the everyday rhythms of life? You'd share meals, watch each others kids, party together, serve neighbors, restore what's broken in your community, talk about Jesus a lot and see people begin to follow him. It would be messy and it would be glorious.
